Anime Series Guide

Just finished watching all the (49) episodes. Don't really know why I watched them all because it was all so so. Some episodes were great while others were truly boring. Sometimes I even got the feeling that I seen it before.

This show didn't left an lasting impression on me..

The anime is about 2 men that are trying to get things back for money. With their magic powers, they meet with many other characters who has magic powers,and then they use magic powers to fight magic powers......It sounds simple, but there are lots of interesting plot in this anime.

This is an excellent anime. It definitely should deserve a 10/10 rating. The reason that I gave it 9/10 is because the bad beginning. I stopped watching GB when i reached episode 2, the plot was boring (especially ep 1) and there aren't many actions. With recommendations everywhere, I kept on watching it. Now, things changed with ep 3-5 (especially 11-25, it was amazing). I understand that it's really hard to keep watching after seeing the first 2 eps, but if you do, you will definitely not regret watching this anime.

With great+great=GREAT!! background music and good character design, and more magic powers~~~, this is truly a must see.

Personally, I loved GetBackers the moment I saw Ban and Ginji step into HonkyTonk, and it hasn't disapointed me since.



Unfortunately, I haven't been able to read the manga, or I've been lazy, but from what I've seen, I don't think that the manga could be all that much better.



I know some will beg to differ, but I think that GetBackers is just one of those rare, comedic gems where every episode just gets better and better. I'm up to episode 39 now, and I have yet to find an episode that isn't good, and I tend to be quite picky.



So I guess that's a good sign, right?



P.s. Even though everyone says that it is "oh so formulated", can I just point out that most series are, but this one happens to do it with style?
